Re: Fury
Not a big boxing fan but I LIKE Fury.

A real character and an intelligent guy.
Hopefully he smashes the rest of them who are obnoxious loudmouths or dreary dullards like Anthony Joshua.

Re: Fury
A bell end but entertaining. Heavyweight division has improved in recent years but still miles away from what it was 20+ years ago.

Solid performance from Fury and good entertainment.

He's an oafish, obnoxious pikey cunt but he's got a bit of CHARACTER about him.

Re: Fury
Yeah agree, he has a personality. Joshua is hard to like as he has nowt about him.

Re: Fury
With an 0 on his record AJ was a role model and a great professional, with a poor loss he’s a shit dull cunt. It’s unreal.

Fury is astute, he saw a far inferior fighter in Joshua hyping up the division and making money.

Fury made the whole comeback a story, played on the whole mental health thing, now people don’t even mention his ban for Steroids and Cocaine and the fact he was quite boring to watch before the comeback.

He’s signed a big deal and to be fair to him he has put himself out there, used social media to create a larger than life persona, he’s doing his thing and he is extremely talented.

He needs to fight Dillian next, re match Wilder and if AJ gets his belts back then beat him and unify or if not Ruiz Jr.

Then there is no argument about him being the best heavyweight in the world, although in fairness it’s quite plain to see that presently he is.

Stars n stripes, Livin in America...absolute masterclass in selling to the dumb septics, the fight was piss poor but with Bob Arum promoting he could take another 5 fights like that.

He won't go anywhere near Dillian - don't get me wrong, I think he'd beat him, he just won't take the risk. It will be some other no mark that he can easily brush aside.

His 80m is guaranteed either way. So why take hard fights? Especially when people are just as interested in the show he puts on than anything else.

Re: Fury
If youse all met someone with the same personality as Tyson Fury on the street you’d all fucking hate him and be on here with a thread title like “arrogant pikey cunt just whacked my mum with scrap metal” but cause he’s a celebrity he’s the bollocks, makes no sense.

El Scorchio 1:07 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
I like him a lot more than the personality vacuum that is Joshua, and the absolute ubercunt that is Wilder. I
m sure he is a bit of a knob in real life, but I won't ever meet him or have any desire to do so, so I'm fine with enjoying his pisstaking antics from afar.

Hope he ends up with all the belts, to be honest.

I think Billy Fury could have beaten that Kraut.

TheBoleynBoy 1:14 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
You’re sure he’s a knob in real life but you prefer him over someone that’s just normal and generally positive in Joshua.

You’re Backward!

Wilder I agree with, horrible cunt of a bloke who wants to kill someone in the sport to have it on his record. Strange mentality to have.

Re: Fury
Met Fury in person a few days ago in Vegas before and after his press conference. He was a top top bloke and took time with everyone who went up to him for a chat/pics etc, and had to reign his own security team in on a couple of occasions.

El Scorchio 1:24 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
I just think Joshua seems very stage managed in order for his brand to be clean cut, to always say the right thing from a PR perspective and to always be 'whiter than white' if you'll excuse the turn of phrase. To me this just makes him come across as very dull and devoid of personality.

Fury has personality in abundance, and even though he might say the odd stupid or offensive thing he's entertaining, and I'll take that over something sterile any day of the week.

Call it backwards, but entertainment is what I'm looking for, and Fury has it. Joshua does not.

Yeah, but folk LIKE people with a bit of CHARACTER. Alex Higgins, Paul Gascoigne, Spike Milligan, John Lennon etc etc...all total cunts but INTERESTING.

Leonard - I would include Roland Rat in that list too

His last fight with Wilder he gave the lot to charity. How many other boxers are doing that?
